Kylie Miller

Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Stage, Musical Theatre

Kylie was born and raised in Vancouver and has been dancing with Dance Co since she was 3 years old. Training in all styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, lyrical, acro, tap, hip hop and stage. In 2012, she decided to become more dedicated to her training and joined the Professional Half-Day Program, dancing 25 hours a week. Kylie has received several scholarships from competitions, offering her opportunities to go to the Sun Dance Summer Intensive at the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre in Toronto (2014) and Move! The Company Summer Intensive (2015). She also had the opportunity to take many wonderful classes from amazing choreographers, such as Wen Wei Wang, Josh Beamish, Alysa Pires, Amber Funk, Stacey Tookey, Andrew Winghart, Teddy Forance, Will Lofts and many more. In 2015 and 2016, Kylie was chosen to represent Victoria Danceworks at a provincial competition called PABC held in Powell River (2015) and Fort St John (2016), receiving honourable mention each year. Now that she’s graduated from the program she has moved on to her next chapter. Kylie is apart of local pre-professional contemporary dance program called Modus Operandi, that further educates her about dance, choreography and improvisation.
