Marlowe Windsor established Dance Co in 1992 and has since overseen the development of many young dancers and currently emerging dance artists. Her love of dance has taken her to many parts of the world, allowing her to work both with and beside many of dance’s greatest choreographers, dancers and teachers. Marlowe’s joy for teaching is infectious, she loves to share her passion for dance with her students and strives to help each dancer become the best he/she can be both as a dancer and as a person. She is proud to work with such a wonderful, creative and caring faculty, loves her students and is grateful to have the opportunity to introduce young people to dance! Marlowe’s professional credits include a featured role dancing in the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Olympics choreographed by Brock Jellison and David Atkins. Appearing as ‘Suzie’ in the made for TV musical and soundtrack Bye Bye Birdie, alongside cast members Jason Alexander, Tyne Daley and Vanessa Williams with choreography by the esteemed Anne Reinking. Playing a featured dance role in the Bravo TV dance spectacular Swinging Nutcracker, partnered by Paul Becker with choreography by Lisa Stevens and dance tours of the Middle East, Europe, Caribbean and Asia. Marlowe has received numerous choreography awards and her students consistently receive high score awards and recognition for their outstanding performances. Marlowe is a member of BC Dance Educators and the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. Marlowe consistently travels to New York, Los Angeles and Europe to study, perform, teach, and re-highlight her passion for dance.
