Jordyn Lemire

Jordyn began her dance training in Calgary, AB through Boundless Dance Studio at the age of three. There she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, and Acro. After graduating from Central Memorial High School in the Performing and Visual Arts program, Jordyn travelled to Orange County, CA to perform with Leah Silva’s Reverb Tap Company. She performed at the Emmy Awards Governor’s Balls, multiple galas, and assisted Leah Silva during teaching and choreography rehearsals. Arriving back in Calgary found Jordyn a spot in Tasha Lawson’s Tri Tone Rhythm Ensemble. With Tri Tone she performed at fundraisers and galas throughout the city, and performed a full length show called ‘A Kiss in Time.’ During that time, Jordyn worked with Lisa La Touche to prepare to represent Team Canada at the IDO World Tap Dance Championships in Riesa, Germany. Jordyn has been teaching and choreographing at her home studio for the last two seasons, and had the opportunity to teach at the Orange County Tap Festival last summer. She was eager to find more dance opportunities which led her to move to Vancouver, BC. Jordyn has loved working with the incredible students and faculty at Dance Co so far, and is looking forward to the seasons to come!
